Steve and his wife Em head up the team as Directors of 418 Centre
Steve and his wife Em have spent the majority of their Christian life serving as Senior Pastors in a local Church environment. They have been involved internationally in training and ministering in the areas of healing and freedom for over 20 years. They have developed and conducted their ‘School of Healing and Freedom’ in various locations in Australia and across the World throughout that time.
In more recent years their ministry abroad has mainly involved teaching and mentoring Pastors and leaders to be equipped in the areas of healing and freedom ministries, and helping churches establish ministry teams.

Why 4:18?
4:18 Centre is a non-denominational ministry dedicated to bringing God’s promises of freedom and healing to a World in need. Our aim is to help restore Biblical order in people’s lives so that they can access that provision. The concept for 4:18 Centres is to provide safe places where people can come to receive ministry from Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit.
There are two edges to the teaching aspect of the ministry. The first is to position you to receive for whatever issues you may be dealing with personally. The second is that as a consequence of being free and equipped you will be in a better place to work with God to help others.

The ministry is based on the work of Jesus prophesied in Isaiah 61 and fulfilled in Luke 4:18. It is important that we pay attention to two New Testament references as to why the Spirit of the Lord was anointing Jesus.
Particularly when we consider that the Church is anointed to continue the same works of God on a large scale, not through a single child of God, but many. The Holy Spirit then is on us for the same reason that it was on Jesus Christ.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD. NKJV
Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. NIV
It is an exciting mission that has been given to the body of Christ. As we step in to it we can be sure that God will be with us. It is after all His idea.
John 20:21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
